2007 Bmw 335i Steering Wheel Lock. I have a 2007 bmw 328i automatic it has the steering lock malfunction light coming on at all times but the steering wheel lock is working fine and the car starts up and runs just fine. Bmw will normally have to update the software or replace the steering column to fix the issue.

Steering column lock by genuine bmw vehicle fitment. Managed to open the driver door with the physical key and got in and noticed a red steering wheel lock displayed in the dash. Inserted the fob and no start.
